Abstrak

Air bersih dan sanitasi layak adalah kebutuhan dasar manusia yang menjadi salah tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Sanitasi lingkungan yang buruk akan berdampak buruk pula bagi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui determinan kesehatan lingkungan dan pengeluaran untuk makanan terhadap keluhan kesehatan. Metode penelitian adalah longitudinal survey, menggunakan data agregat hasil SUSENAS, berupa data panel 34 Provinsi di Indonesia periode tahun 2018-2022. Pengolahan data menggunakan STATA. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tiga variabel signifikan berpengaruh terhadap keluhan kesehatan, yaitu akses sanitasi, akses air minum dan pengeluaran makanan per kapita. Variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya adalah pengeluaran makanan per kapita. Untuk menurunkan keluhan kesehatan diperlukan intervensi peningkatan akses terhadap kesehatan lingkungan dan meningkatkan pengeluaran untuk makanan sebagai dasar peningkatan konsumsi gizi yang cukup.
